Matrox ConvertIP DRH is a compact, standalone ST2110 and IPMX transmitter/receiver Dual-channel RJ45 HDMI-to-IP device. Featuring HDMI I/O and three RJ45 ports on a singe device, ConvertIP DRH is designed for 1G AV workflows and is optimal for an ultra-low latency experience.
SMPTE ST 2110 is a standard from the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) that describes how to send digital video over an IP network. ST 2110 permits granular transport of individual separate essence streams supporting video, audio, and metadata.
IPMX standard is designed to transport and control of compressed and uncompressed video and audio, including 4Kp60 with 4:4:4 color, over standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet networks. IPMX (Internet Protocol Media Experience) is a proposed set of open standards and specifications for AV over IP which address the ProAV industry’s need for a common set of ubiquitous standards and protocols in the transition to IP infrastructures.
