Adder Technology has invested in offices in the UK, US and France, launched a 24/7 elite support service, and will be bringing an addition to its multi-award-winning IP KVM range to ISE 2020.

Adder Technology has completed an expansion and refurbishment of its global headquarters in Cambridge, UK, opened offices in America and Europe, and launched a new 24/7 Professional Services offering. The developments form part of a multi-million dollar global investment strategy by the specialist in connectivity solutions and high-performance IP KVM.

The expansion and refurbishment project is aimed at accelerating product development, enhancing partner engagement and improving customer support. It follows the successful introduction in 2019 of the multi-award winning AdderLink Infinity 4000 Series – the world’s first dual-head, high-performance 4K IP KVM extender over a single fibre.

Adrian Dickens, CEO at Adder, said: “Our partners and customers are core to Adder’s success and continued innovation. By listening to their feedback we continue to develop the most advanced IP KVM solutions available. Reinvesting in the business is a strong signal of commitment, not only to our partners and customers but also to our highly experienced employees. I’m very proud to see that Adder continues to lead the way, now and into the future.”

Adder’s global HQ improvements include increased R&D facilities, enhanced manufacturing space, additional meeting rooms and employee facilities including a large breakout area where people can collaborate, brainstorm or simply relax to recharge.

On the West Coast of America, Adder has opened a new 800 sq ft office space in Novato, San Francisco. The offices comprise meeting rooms and demonstration facility for partners to engage with customers about their IP KVM requirements, from planning and design through to implementation. In Novato, Adder Technology joins some of the US’s fastest-growing companies of 2019 – including the likes of AdvisoryCloud, GIR and Merrimak Capital Company.

In Europe, Adder is supporting increased growth opportunities in France with a newly appointed in-country manager, based in Paris. Adder’s dedicated presence in France will allow it to work closely with local businesses on their IP KVM opportunities.

To better support Adder partners and customers around the world, the business has announced a 24/7 global support operation as part of its Professional Services programme. The service gives worldwide customers with mission-critical KVM, 24/7 access to Adder’s highly skilled technical engineers along with an advanced hardware replacement scheme and guaranteed four-hour callback time.

Meanwhile, Adder has announced an addition to its AdderLink Infinity range, the AdderLink Infinity 3000 (ALIF3000). The new KVM receiver provides virtual machine (VM) access and delivers instant switching between unlimited virtual and physical environments, from a single human machine interface (HMI).

The benefits of accessing virtualised environments via a single KVM are gaining momentum as organisations and software applications recognise the flexibility and growth opportunities. Yet whilst the adoption of virtualisation is rising, many companies are still reluctant to move wholly away from physical machines.

The ALIF3000 has been designed to seamlessly and securely integrate VM access into an existing AdderLink Infinity network without disruption, downtime or costly replacement fees. Built on Intel1 X-86 microprocessor architecture, the ALIF3000 delivers pixel-perfect picture quality, audio and USB 2.0 to single or dual screens over a single 1GbE link.

Adrian Dickens, CEO at Adder Technology, said: “It was important for us to ensure our customers can move to, and access, virtual environments at their own pace whilst preserving their initial KVM investment. The ALIF3000 enables exactly that, and has been developed to enable our customers to seamlessly add secure VM access into their existing workflows, at a time that is right for them, without enduring unnecessary costs.”

By integrating the ALIF3000 with the AdderLink Infinity Manager (AIM), IT administrators can clearly define secure user access rights to ensure that target PCs can only be accessed by permitted users – giving business owners peace of mind and assurance.

The AdderLink Infinity 3000 Series can be seen for the first time on the Adder Technology stand at ISE 2020 (Hall 10, Stand P180).
