NAB Las Vegas, April 11th 2018 – Adder Technology, the IP-based, high performance KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) specialist, is demonstrating how its solutions are powering a range of global partners on booth SL4227 at NAB 2018.
Among these is NewTek, a leader in software-driven video production technology, which uses Adder’s KVM technology to help run the world’s only end-to-end IP workflow.
In particular, visitors will be able to see how the ADDERLink Range of KVM extenders is being used to power the latest version of NewTek’s iconic TriCaster® TC1, a complete production system for producing programs, performances, events and live sports in true 4K ultra high definition (UHD) resolution with support for native 2160p video at 60 frames per second.
“Adder has a passion for creating products that exceed expectations and have been recognized by NewTek as a unique solution provider when customers require complete, uncompressed and lossless extension of video data,” commented Will Waters, senior director of IP Workflow at NewTek.
“The highly reliable, plug and play design of Adder KVM extenders make them extremely easy to use, helping our customers with everything they need to create professional video programs up to and including UHD, 4K and multiple screen configurations.”
“We’re delighted to be able to showcase our multi-year collaboration with NewTek by including the TriCaster technology within our NAB stand set up – allowing us to highlight yet another broadcast solution that is powered by KVM technology. The company is using innovation to fundamentally change the way video is created and used, something that resonates with Adder, as we endeavour to support the industry with our technology to enable these changes,” says Jamie Adkin, VP Sales for EMEA, Adder Technology.
