Adder to demonstrate technology preview at NAB
Cambridge, 29 March 2016: Adder Technology, the high performance KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) specialist will be previewing an exciting new technology during the show. Visitors to booth SL 11109 will be the first to see the new AdderLink XDIP extender — an IP-based KVM extension technology which allows small IP matrices to be created without the need for a separate manager or control system. The device also features feed-through ports, which are ideal for AV applications, as well as delivering user stations at each device. Another feature of the XDIP is that each end point can be either a receiver (RX) or transmitter (TX) allowing customers to fluidly reconfigure their installation without the need for additional devices. Each device features an onboard configuration interface for setup and to make live changes.
Adder Technology will also be launching the Adder C-USB LAN network extender at this year’s NAB Show. The extender works alongside the company’s AdderLink portfolio of high performance IP-based KVM products over a standard gigabit network. The Adder C-USB LAN can be used alongside the AdderLink Infinity matrix to deliver high-speed USB2.0 extension at 480 megabits per second making it ideal for file ingest from cameras or other USB devices. The extender has been developed in response to customer demand and is ideal for use in applications where there is a requirement for high-speed data transfer or isochronous communication for live streaming or communication. The extender, designed to add an additional layer of functionality to the existing AdderLink Infinity system, will be demonstrated live on the Adder Technology stand in conjunction with a number of other products that demonstrate the value that IP-based KVM can bring to the broadcast ecosystem.
