Re-imaging our future – Dubai 2014
With several thousand exhibitors from the ICT industry, the two events InfoComm MEA and Gitex Technology Week will attract many visitors from the Middle East, Africa and Southern Asia. Together with their partner Omnio Technologies, Guntermann & Drunck will represent the KVM industry.
Leading-edge KVM
In 2014, Gitex Technology Week will take place for the 34th time. The event presents the latest trends regarding software, hardware, consumer technology, cloud, telecommunications, mobile apps and content. And since InfoComm, a high-tech show for AV communications, will take place at the same time, the combination of both events promises to attract many visitors from industries like AV, broadcast and ICT.
International suppliers of technology will present their products and services at the Dubai World Trade Center, 12 - 16 October 2014. As pioneers of KVM for almost 30 years, Guntermann & Drunck exhibit their leading-edge devices in Dubai, together with their partner Omnio Technologies Abu Dhabi – UAE.
Modularity meets flexibility
In Dubai, Guntermann & Drunck GmbH presents the latest of their three ControlCenter-Digital variants. With 80 dynamic ports, the KVM matrix serves as a digital switch point between computers and users. With the dynamic matrix, users can operate multiple computers from multiple workstations. Which type of module is connected is automatically detected by the ControlCenter-Digital. The system supports CAT cables and fibre optics even in mixed mode. Which type of module is connected (computer module or user module) is automatically detected by the ControlCenter-Digital. Configuration is kept to a minimum.
Whether one user accesses 79 computers, 40 users 40 computers or any possible constellation – the ControlCenter-Digital can be expanded up to thousands of ports. Thanks to the ControlCenter-Digital’s modularity, it is easy to replace components and flexibly expand the matrix. Its modular setup consists of:
· Replaceable input and output cards (I/O cards)
· Switch card
· Controller card with the central processor unit
· Three redundant power packs
· Two fan boards.
· An integrated 2048-bit RSA encrypted Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to protect any access and configuration data against exposure.
Resolutions up to 4K
The United Arab Emirates are known for their larger, more splendid and majestic designs. These high standards perfectly fit G&D’s KVM technology. And that’s also the reason why the German manufacturer will present their most powerful devices regarding size. G&D’s DL-Vision-MC2 transmits Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at full frame rate (60 Hz).
Thanks to the 4K resolution many application processes can be displayed simultaneously on a single large format display. With the help of KVM, users have direct access to their computers yet benefit from computer-free, silent workstations which make it easy to become creative.
Definitely Dubai
